ZeroTrace Echo

Wardriving

Map sub-GHz activity along a route using your phone's location.

Wardriving

Echo can log where it hears sub-GHz activity so you can build a map or heatmap of a route. Echo provides the radio side, what it heard and how strong it was, and your phone provides the location.

No onboard GPS

Echo has no GPS receiver. Location comes entirely from your phone through the app. There is no add-on that gives Echo its own positioning, so wardriving needs the connected phone.

How it works

As Echo hears sub-GHz signals it streams each one to the app. The app tags it with your phone's current location and builds a heatmap, placing each signal where it was heard strongest.

Because the location comes from your phone, wardriving accuracy follows your phone's GPS, and it pauses whenever the Bluetooth connection drops.
