ZeroTrace Echo

Introduction

A keychain sub-GHz RF tool that captures, decodes and defends, driven from your phone over Bluetooth LE.

Welcome to ZeroTrace Echo

ZeroTrace Echo is a keychain-sized sub-GHz RF tool. It listens to the short-range radio traffic around you, garage and gate remotes, tyre-pressure and weather sensors, alarm contacts, decodes what it hears, and shows it on your phone in real time.

Echo has no screen and no web page of its own. You drive it entirely from the ZeroTrace mobile app over Bluetooth LE, with a single colour status light and one button for use away from your phone.

Its purpose is deliberately defensive. Echo listens: it detects jamming, flags jam-and-replay (RollJam) patterns, and warns you when a remote matching yours reappears. It never breaks rolling-code security, rolling-code remotes are captured and classified only, never defeated.

Authorized use only

Echo is a measurement and research instrument. Capturing and decoding are passive, they only listen. Echo can also transmit saved fixed-code signals (replay, brute-force and fuzz tools), which is legally sensitive, use it only on equipment you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Rolling-code security is never defeated by design. Radio and privacy laws vary by country; operate within the rules where you are. See Safety & Legal.
