Fixed-Code Decoders
Fixed-code remotes send the same code every time. Echo recognises 16 named fixed-code protocols, plus a general decoder for cheap remotes that don't match a named one. Once captured, these remotes can be identified, and in several cases re-created and replayed.
What Echo decodes

This goes well beyond the EV1527 / PT2262 / CAME / NICE FLO / Holtek / Chamberlain families usually named for tools like this, Hörmann, Clemsa, Nexa, Dooya, Magellan, Mastercode and Marantec are all decoded too.
What you actually see decoded
Every fixed-code result boils down to the same handful of plain-language fields, what varies is which ones a given protocol carries:

Identifying similar remotes
Some remotes look alike and are told apart by their timing rather than their content, EV1527 and PT2262, and CAME and NICE FLO, are two such pairs. Echo handles the distinction for you and reports the right one.
Re-creating and replaying
Several of the named remotes can be re-created and replayed by Echo (Chamberlain, Ansonic and Linear Delta 3 among them). Two more tools help with fixed-code research:
- Brute-force, sweeps the short set of possible DIP-switch codes.
- Fuzzer, sends varied test signals.
Replaying a fixed code, and the brute-force and fuzz tools, can operate real gates and remotes. They work on fixed-code remotes only and always refuse rolling-code remotes, but they are still transmitting. Use them only on equipment you own or are explicitly authorized to test, and within local radio law. See Safety & Legal.
Rolling-code remotes (KeeLoq, Somfy, Security+ and more) are never treated as fixed-code and are never given a way to transmit. See Rolling-code.
