Five end-to-end walkthroughs covering the most common Companion workflows — HID, AirLeak, surveillance-detection, unknown-device investigation, and AI triage.
The reference docs explain what every feature does. The tutorials show how the features work together on real cases. Each walkthrough is a single workflow start to finish — open Companion, follow along, finish with a concrete result.

Every tutorial assumes you have completed the first launch and your device is detected by Companion. If those are unfamiliar, start there.
Common shape
Every tutorial below follows the same structure:
- Setup — connect the device, open the right view.
- First-pass action — the obvious tool / view for the obvious input.
- Pivot phase — turn first-pass findings into deeper second-pass findings.
- Verification — confirm or rule out.
- Deliver — what you have at the end.
If you internalise this shape across the five tutorials, you can apply it to workflows we have not written tutorials for.
Time estimates
Each tutorial is paced for a "first time through" user. With practice, every tutorial below collapses to a fraction of its initial length.
