ZeroTrace Mobile

Settings

App-wide and per-device settings, appearance, units, maps, app lock and more.

Settings

The app has global settings that apply everywhere, plus per-device settings for the device you are connected to.

Appearance & themes

The app is dark by design. Within that, a theme builder lets you adjust its appearance and unlock alternative looks, including a ghost theme that's earned rather than available from the start.

Ghost is a look, not a mode

The app's "ghost" theme (internally "ghoststrats") is purely cosmetic, it changes how the app looks. It is not a stealth or hidden-operation mode, and it does not change how any device behaves or what it transmits.

Units & maps

Set your preferred units (metric or imperial) and the map and route style used for wardriving and route planning in Wardrive & location. You can also configure your export and upload destinations for routes and captures, where an export goes when you save one out.

App lock

Turn on biometric app lock to require Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint to open the app, and to confirm destructive device actions. See App lock & biometrics.

Per-device settings

Each connected device has its own settings screen, reached from that device's tab bar, including:

  • Rename — set the friendly name shown in the hub, independent of the name it advertises over Bluetooth.
  • Appearance — device-specific display options, where the family offers them.
  • Device-specific controls — the settings particular to that family, alert thresholds for AirLeak's follow-me detection, keyboard layout defaults for HID, and so on.

What appears here depends on which family the device belongs to, see the Device Guides.

Blacklist

You can maintain a blacklist to hide devices or signals you never want to see again, useful for filtering your own known gear, your own phone, your own earbuds, out of a busy AirLeak or AirLeak Pro scan so what's left is what's actually worth looking at.
