AirLeak in the app

The app is the only control surface for AirLeak, the device is a BLE observer with no screen of its own, so everything happens on your phone over Bluetooth LE. Connecting an AirLeak opens a tab bar built around one job: making sense of the Bluetooth devices around you.

Live

Live is a real-time list of every Bluetooth advertisement AirLeak hears, named where it can be named, an AirPods case, a SmartTag, a Fast Pair headset, with signal strength so you can tell what's near and how near. Tap any entry to open its detail screen, its full advertisement history, signal trend, and identity fields. See BLE device intelligence for how identification works.

TraceNet

TraceNet shows AirLeak's view of ZeroTrace's mesh networking, other TraceNet-capable devices it can see and coordinate with.

Hunt

Hunt is the dedicated tracker-hunting mode: a focused view for finding a specific item tracker nearby, tuned for closing in on one device rather than scanning everything at once. See Tracker detection.

Drive

Drive maps what AirLeak sees as you move, plotting Bluetooth activity onto a route in real time. See Wardrive & location.

Insights

Insights is a summary read of the wireless environment around you, what kinds of devices are present, how much of what you're seeing is expected background noise versus something worth a second look.

Signals

Signals is where AirLeak's fingerprinting shows its work: devices that rotate their Bluetooth address for privacy are still recognized by the pattern of how they advertise, and Signals is the re-identification view, seeing a phone that changes its address every fifteen minutes as one followed device, not a crowd of momentary strangers. This is also where follow-me alerts surface, a warning when a device appears to be travelling with you over time, the core "is something following me" question.

Capture

Capture holds AirLeak's capture modes, recording what's seen for later review rather than only watching it live.

Settings

Per-device settings for the connected AirLeak: rename it, and configure alert and follow-me behavior. See Settings.

Off-bar screens

• Device detail (tap any entry in Live or Signals) — an individual device's full history, address rotations linked together, and any live state it broadcasts, an AirPods lid opening, a SmartTag going separated.
• Diagnostics — device health for troubleshooting.
• History — past sessions and captures.
• Node — AirLeak's status as a TraceNet mesh participant.
