The ZeroTrace app
The ZeroTrace app is the single companion app for the entire ZeroTrace hardware line. It runs on iOS and iPadOS and Android, connects to your devices over Bluetooth LE, and reshapes itself around whatever you pair, one app, every device.
There is only one app to install. It is not a launcher for separate per-device apps, and there is no second "companion" app to find, the app you install is the companion app. When you connect a device, the app recognises which ZeroTrace family it belongs to and shows the right screens for it automatically.
The app is dark by design and built to stay out of your way: no accounts to create, no telemetry, no tracking. Your data stays on your phone and on your devices.
What the app connects to
The app auto-detects four device families and gives each one its own set of screens:
- HID — the keystroke-injection dongle. Write and run scripts, drive live mouse and gamepad, manage payloads and layouts.
- AirLeak — the BLE observer. Watch nearby Bluetooth devices, spot trackers, and get follow-me alerts.
- AirLeak Pro — the full Wi-Fi and BLE survey device with GPS wardriving and a large operations suite.
- Echo — the sub-GHz RF tool. Capture, decode and defend across garage, gate and sensor traffic.
The USBLogger does not have its own screen in the app. It is reviewed through its own built-in Wi-Fi web interface, see USBLogger Live Mode. If a USBLogger-type device is seen over Bluetooth, it appears under the standard HID-style view.
The ZeroTrace devices are measurement and research instruments. Use them only on equipment and networks you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Radio, wireless and privacy laws vary by country, operate within the rules where you are.
