ZeroTrace Mobile
Supported devices
Which ZeroTrace devices ZeroTrace Mobile controls, and which ones still use the desktop Companion.
ZeroTrace Mobile pairs with two ZeroTrace hardware families over Bluetooth LE. It detects the device type automatically and shows the right set of tools.
What the app controls
| Device | In the app | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| ZeroTrace HID | Yes | Executor, Live input, Gamepad, Files, Settings, TraceNet. See HID control. |
| ZeroTrace AirLeak | Yes | Live scanner, Fox Hunt, Drive, Insights, History, capture modes, export. See AirLeak. |
The app recognises ZeroTrace hardware by its Bluetooth advertising name and service signature, then reshapes its tabs around the device family it finds. A freshly flashed or re-paired device falls back to the HID tab set until it reports its type.
What the app does not control
| Device | Use instead |
|---|---|
| ZeroTrace BLELogger | The desktop Companion app and the device's built-in Web UI. BLELogger is not paired through ZeroTrace Mobile. |
ZeroTrace Mobile is for HID and AirLeak hardware. BLELogger, the USB-to-BLE keyboard bridge, is managed from the desktop Companion or its on-device Web UI, not from the phone.
Other ZeroTrace software
ZeroTrace also ships standalone desktop applications that are unrelated to device pairing and have their own installers:
- ZeroTrace OSINT, a desktop OSINT investigation suite.
- ZeroTrace Proxy, a desktop proxy workflow suite.
These are separate products. They are not controlled from ZeroTrace Mobile.
