Wardriving
Fox Hunt turns a signal into a direction finder; Drive is the live wardrive map that draws your route and pins every device as you move.
Two AirLeak tools turn the scanner into a tool for covering ground: Fox Hunt finds where a signal is coming from, and Drive maps everything you pass.
Fox Hunt
Fox Hunt answers the question every scanner leaves you with: okay, but where is it?
Lock onto any device and the app turns its signal into a direction-finding radar. Hold the phone flat and do a slow 360° turn, and as your own body shadows the antenna the app maps signal strength to heading across 24 segments and locks onto the bearing the device is really in. From there a warmer / colder readout with a live dB delta and a distance estimate walks you straight to it, with haptic ticks so you can keep your eyes up rather than on the screen.

|---|---|
| Radar | a 24-segment signal compass; a slow spin locks the bearing |
| Readout | warmer / colder trend, dB delta, and a distance estimate |
| Works | indoors, with no GPS, haptic feedback, keeps the screen awake |
Fox Hunt is pure radio direction finding, so it works indoors, in basements, anywhere GPS cannot reach, which almost nothing else offers from a phone.
Drive
Drive is the wardriving centrepiece, and it is a genuinely live map, not a log you stare at afterwards.
Start a session and your route draws itself behind you as you move, while every device the scanner hears drops onto the map pinned at the exact spot its signal was strongest. A floating HUD keeps the numbers in front of you.

|---|---|
| Map | your GPS route plus every device pinned at its strongest signal |
| HUD | device count, a new-device counter, your speed and distance, and a GPS-accuracy badge |
| Built for | a density heat-line or a clean trail, a course-up (sat-nav style) view, a haptic ping on every new device, crash-safe sessions, and scale |
Drive is built to be used at speed:
- An optional haptic ping fires on every new device so you never look down.
- Sessions auto-pause for a phone call and pick straight back up.
- The whole thing is crash-safe: a multi-hour city drive survives the app being killed and resumes intact, comfortably holding tens of thousands of sightings without bogging down.
Set the capture mode to Wardrive to run the scanner flat-out into the map. The route's look (Heat, Noir, or Pulse) follows your route style preference.
The ZeroTrace Dashboard AirLeak section hosts community wardriving, the shared map, leaderboard, and nodes, on the web. The phone records and uploads; the dashboard is where the community view lives.
