ZeroTrace OSINT

Settings

Where to add your service keys, choose an AI model, control the MCP server, and tune how the workbench behaves.

Settings

Settings is where you configure the workbench to fit how you work. The main things you will set up here:

Service keys

A handful of network tools talk to services that expect your own account or API key. You add those keys in Settings, once, and OSINT stores them securely on your machine so the tools that need them just work. See Privacy for how they are protected.

AI assistant

Choose how the AI assistant runs. You can point it at a local AI model on your own computer to keep the conversation on-device, or connect it to a hosted model. This is also where the assistant's behavior is configured.

MCP server

Turn the MCP server on or off. It is off until you enable it, and you can switch it off again whenever you like.

Workbench preferences

Tune the everyday feel of the app, the things that make a keyboard-first workbench yours to move through quickly.

Settings are local

Your keys and preferences are stored on your machine, not synced to a service. If you move to a new computer, you set them up again there.
