When an investigation is done, ZeroTrace OSINT turns your case into a report you can share. The workbench does the assembly: it takes the findings you filed and the identifiers it harvested and lays them out as a dossier, so you are not writing a report from scratch.
Choosing a format
Pick the format that fits what the report is for:
- Markdown — best when the report is going into another document, a ticket, or a set of notes. It is plain text you can paste and edit anywhere.
- JSON — best when the findings are feeding something else: another tool, a script, or your own pipeline. It keeps the structure so a machine can read it.
- PDF — best for handover and the record. It is a printed, self-contained report that looks the same everywhere and does not depend on any other tool to open.
What a report contains
A report reflects the case behind it: the findings you chose to keep, with their context, and the identifiers the workbench gathered as you worked. Because the case was built as you investigated, the report is a faithful account of what you found and how it connects, ready to read or hand off.
Producing a report writes a file on your machine. It does not send your case anywhere, where the report goes next is up to you.
