AirLeak Pro logs to a microSD card. The card is where your surveys are saved so you can pull them off and map them later.
The card is user-supplied
The microSD slot is on the board; the card itself is not included. Fit any standard microSD card, formatted normally, and slide it in until it clicks.
What gets written
When logging is enabled, AirLeak Pro writes every access point and Bluetooth device it hears to a file on the card, each row carrying the network or device details, signal, and, once GPS has a fix, the location and time it was heard. The format is a mapping-ready survey file that imports straight into common mapping tools. See Logging for the full detail.
Card status
The app tells you whether a card is present, whether it is full, and whether a write problem has occurred, so you are never surprised by a survey that did not save.
A card is only needed for logging. Without one, AirLeak Pro still scans and shows everything live in the app; it simply does not keep a saved copy. Fit a card whenever you want a survey you can map afterwards.
