Installation

AirLeak Pro ships ready to run. You supply a rechargeable cell and a memory card, then pair with the app.

1. Fit the battery and card

   Insert a charged 18650 cell into the on-board holder, minding the polarity marked on the board. Slide a microSD card into the slot until it clicks. Both are optional to power on, but you will want the battery for untethered use and a card for logging.

2. Charge over USB-C

   Connect the USB-C port to any standard charger or computer. The device charges the cell on-board and can run while charging. The status light shows charging and ready states.

3. Power on

   Move the slide switch to the on position. The status light comes up to show the device is running and advertising over Bluetooth.

4. Pair with the ZeroTrace app

   Open the ZeroTrace mobile app, scan for devices, and select your AirLeak Pro. The app recognizes it automatically and opens the AirLeak Pro controls. See Pairing the app.

5. Start capturing

   With the device paired, start a scan from the app. Access points, Bluetooth devices and, once GPS has a fix, your location begin to populate. Continue to First capture.
