Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung)
Statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers under §312g and §355 BGB, with the model withdrawal form and the digital-goods consent rules per §356 Abs. 5 BGB.
1. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, took possession of the goods (or, in the case of partial deliveries, the last item).
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us:
ZeroTrace
Alte Brühler Straße 127
50997 Köln, Germany
E-Mail: admin@zerotrace.pw
by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient to send the communication before the period expires.
2. Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs arising if you chose a delivery type other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.
You shall send back the goods to us, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before that period has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
3. Early Performance of Digital Content (§356 Abs. 5 BGB)
For contracts on the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium (e.g. firmware licences, software downloads, dashboard activations), the right of withdrawal expires if:
- you have expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period; and
- you have acknowledged that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal upon commencement of performance.
We capture both of these confirmations at checkout. If you do not give the consent, the firmware licence is activated only after the 14-day withdrawal period has ended.
4. Model Withdrawal Form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
