Keyboard
Type text, press keys, send combos, media and system keys — the full keyboard command set

Keyboard commands are the core of most payloads. Every command below is dispatched over both USB‑HID and BLE‑HID unless noted.
Typing text
Types text at full speed. writeLn adds a trailing Enter.
write 'Hello, World!'
writeLn 'Hello, World!'Types with a fixed delay (ms) after each character — use when a host drops fast keystrokes (RDP, VMs, kiosks). accurateWriteLn adds Enter. Negative delay is treated as 0.
accurateWrite 'slow and reliable' 40
accurateWriteLn 'slow and reliable' 40Same idea as accurateWrite, but the per‑character delay is applied inside the HID driver rather than the script loop. delayedWriteLn adds Enter.
delayedWrite 'rate-limited input' 25
delayedWriteLn 'rate-limited input' 25For multi‑line payloads, use the write blocks (writeLnStart … writeLnEnd) instead of one command per line.
Keys and combos
Press (and release) a single key. Add hold to keep it down, or release to let it up. See the key name reference below.
key 'enter'
key 'f5'
key 'a'Press several keys simultaneously, joined with +, then release all.
comboKey 'ctrl+c'
comboKey 'ctrl+shift+esc'
comboKey 'win+r'Press an arrow key. Value must be lowercase: up, down, left, right.
arrowKey 'down'Send a raw HID key code (0x00–0xFF; decimal, 0x hex, or octal). Optional hold / release.
keyCode 0x04
keyCode 0xE1 hold
keyCode 0xE1 releaseHold a key across other commands, then release it. releaseAll clears every held key — the safe way out of a stuck modifier.
hold 'shift'
key 'a'
release 'shift'
releaseAllLayout
Keystrokes are sent as scancodes; the host maps them through its active layout. Set the layout to match the target with keyboardLayout (names are case‑sensitive):
keyboardLayout 'German'Media and system keys
Press a consumer‑control key by name (case‑sensitive). Common names: playpause, nexttrack, prevtrack, stop, mute, volup, voldown, calculator, explorer, brightness_up, brightness_down, browser_home, browser_back, browser_search. See the full media key list.
mediaKey 'playpause'
mediaKey 'volup'Press a system‑control key. Exactly three are supported: power_off, standby, wake_host.
systemKey 'wake_host'Send a raw usage code directly (0x0000–0xFFFF; decimal or 0x hex).
mediaKeyCode 0x00E2 # mute
systemKeyCode 0x0081 # power downTiming and effects
Sets a global delay inserted after each executed line. Clamped to 0–60000 ms. Only the first defaultdelay in a script takes effect.
defaultdelay 100Types random characters (a‑z0‑9) for duration ms, one every interval ms — for testing or disruption. duration is clamped to ≤30000 ms and interval to 1–1000 ms.
