The keyboard doesn't work when plugged into the device

Make sure the USBLogger's plug is in the computer and the keyboard is in the socket — not reversed. Try a different USB port on the computer, and confirm the status light shows power. Some keyboards with built-in hubs or unusual power needs may not be supported.

I can't find the device's Wi-Fi network

Confirm the device has power (status light on) and that it has finished starting up. Refresh the Wi-Fi list on your phone or laptop. The network name and password are device-specific — check the details supplied with your unit.

The live view won't open or is locked

The review interface requires an activated license. Confirm your device is activated (see Licensing). Make sure you are connected to the device's own Wi-Fi and using the correct address.

Recorded characters are wrong (symbols or accents)

The selected keyboard layout probably doesn't match the keyboard. Choose the correct layout, or run calibration for an unusual keyboard. See Keymaps & locales.

The session disappeared

The USBLogger keeps the current session in device memory and clears it on power loss. It is meant for live review — copy anything you need to keep while the session is running. See Live view.

Still stuck? Reach ZeroTrace support with your device details and a description of what you observed.
