Sensor Decoders
The tyre-pressure, weather and alarm sensors the ZeroTrace Echo can read.
Alongside remotes, Echo reads a set of common sub-GHz sensors. The list below is exactly what Echo supports, no more, so you know what to expect. Echo is a focused tool, not a catch-all sensor receiver.
- Toyota
- Sensor ID, tyre pressure, temperature, plus a raw status byte
- Ford
- Sensor ID, tyre pressure, temperature (when the sensor marks it valid), plus a raw status byte
- Renault
- Sensor ID, tyre pressure, temperature
- Acurite 592TXR Tower
- Sensor ID, temperature, humidity, channel, and a low-battery flag
- LaCrosse TX
- Sensor ID, and either temperature or humidity per message (the sensor alternates which it sends)
- Fine Offset WH25
- Sensor ID, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and a low-battery flag
- Fine Offset WH51
- Sensor ID, soil-moisture percentage, battery voltage, and a low-battery flag
- Fine Offset WH57
- Sensor ID, lightning strike count, estimated storm distance, and a coarse battery level
- Generic door / motion sensors
- Common EV1527 / PT2262 alarm contacts and PIRs, reports one of: open, closed, motion, or tamper
Live sensor readings stream to the app and stop when you disconnect.
