Troubleshooting
AirLeak Mini questions specific to the smaller board, plus a pointer to the shared Pro troubleshooting.
The Mini runs the AirLeak Pro firmware, so most issues, pairing, missing Wi-Fi, card problems, Ops tools, are covered by the Pro's Troubleshooting page. The items below are specific to the Mini's hardware.
The app can't find AirLeak Mini
Make sure the slide switch is on and the status light is lit. Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that you are within a few metres. The app recognizes the Mini as an AirLeak device automatically, since it runs the Pro firmware. If it still does not appear, power-cycle the device with the slide switch and scan again.
There's no GPS status, and captures have no location
This is expected. The Mini has no on-board GPS, so it cannot tag captures with location. Logs are written without location fixes. If you need GPS-tagged wardriving, use the AirLeak Pro. See Hardware differences.
The battery drains quickly or won't charge
Use a good-quality LiPo pack with a matching JST plug, fitted the right way round. Charge over USB-C with a standard charger; the device can run while charging. If a pack will not charge, try a known-good pack. Never use a swollen or damaged pack. See Hardware differences.
Where do I connect debug or expansion accessories?
The Mini does not have the expansion or debug headers found on the Pro. If your workflow needs those connectors, use the AirLeak Pro instead.
