Troubleshooting
Common AirLeak Pro questions, no GPS fix, missing Wi-Fi, card and pairing issues.
The app can't find AirLeak Pro
Make sure the slide switch is on and the status light is lit. Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and that you are within a few metres. If it still does not appear, power-cycle the device with the slide switch and scan again from the app.
GPS never gets a fix
The first fix needs a clear view of the sky and can take a minute or two from cold, indoors it may never lock on. Move outdoors or near a window, and give it time. The app shows the current GPS status; once it has a fix, new observations are tagged with location.
No Wi-Fi networks are showing, only Bluetooth
Check that Wi-Fi scanning is enabled in the app's capture settings, and that at least one band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) is selected. If both radios are set to scan and you still see nothing, power-cycle the device.
Nothing is being saved to the card
Confirm a microSD card is fitted and that logging is enabled in settings. The app reports whether the card is present, full, or has a write problem, check that status. If the card is full, swap it or clear old surveys off it on a computer.
The battery drains quickly or won't charge
Use a good-quality, protected 18650 cell fitted the right way round. Charge over USB-C with a standard charger; the device can run while charging. If a cell will not charge, try a known-good cell, a depleted or protected-tripped cell may need external recovery.
An Ops tool won't start
AirLeak Pro runs one active operation at a time, stop any running operation first. The Ops Suite is also a licensed capability; if the tools are unavailable, check activation. See Licensing & activation.
A survey file opens oddly in my spreadsheet
The saved file is standard WiGLE CSV and is written to be safe to open directly. If columns look misaligned, import it as CSV (comma-separated) rather than letting the spreadsheet auto-detect the delimiter. See Logging.
