AirLeak Pro is local-first. Everything it collects stays on the device and on your phone. There is no cloud account, no upload, and nothing is sent anywhere on your behalf.
Where your data lives
- On the device, live results and, when you enable logging, the survey file on the memory card.
- On your phone, whatever the app shows and any surveys you export.
That is the whole picture. AirLeak Pro does not phone home, and there is no server holding your captures.
What a survey contains
A survey is a record of the wireless environment: network names and security, Bluetooth device identities, signal strengths, and, with GPS, the locations and times things were heard. This can be sensitive, it maps who and what is present in a place. Handle survey files with the same care you would any assessment evidence.
Privacy addresses
AirLeak Pro is built to work with the privacy features modern devices use. It recognizes when a Wi-Fi client or Bluetooth device is using a randomized private address and treats that as information, it does not defeat the protection, it notes that the device is using it.
