Widgets & Live Activities

Home & lock-screen widgets#

The app ships a set of home-screen and lock-screen widgets so you can see what matters without opening the app. Add them the usual way for your phone and pick the ones you want. Widgets include:

• Last Drive — a summary of your most recent wardrive.
• Live Drive — the current drive while one is running.
• Exposure and Air Summary — a read on the wireless activity around you.
• Lifetime and History — running totals and recent activity.
• Tracker Watch — the status of tracker-detection alerts.
• Device Status — connection and state of your devices.
• Next Op — your next scheduled operation.
• Quick Launch and Actions — jump straight to a task in the app.

Each widget updates from the app's local state, so what you see reflects your last sync with your devices, add several to build a small dashboard without unlocking your phone.

Live Activities (iOS)#

On iPhone, long-running jobs surface as Live Activities, on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can watch progress without keeping the app open. Two things drive one today:

• Firmware updates — the download, transfer, verify and reboot phases of an OTA flash update live.
• Active wardrives — a running drive's progress, kept visible while your phone is locked or you're in another app.
