Keyword & pattern flagging

During a review session you can have the USBLogger highlight lines of interest automatically, so you do not have to scan everything by hand. Two kinds of rules are supported.

Keywords#

Add plain words or phrases. Any recorded line that contains one is flagged. Keyword matching is case-insensitive, so password also matches Password and PASSWORD.

Patterns (regular expressions)#

For more precise matching, add regular-expression patterns. These are useful for structured text — for example flagging anything that looks like an email address, a card-style number sequence, or a specific prefix.

How flagged lines appear#

Matching lines are highlighted in the live view as they arrive and are grouped so you can jump to them quickly. Changing your keywords or patterns updates which lines are flagged.
